InterLink Announces Rewards For its First 10M Linkers

InterLink Labs has reached 10 million Linkers, a milestone the project is marking with a broad community celebration that includes token buybacks, exclusive rewards, and in-person events across the globe.

Reverse Auction Buyback Funded by InterLink Labs

The centrepiece of the celebration is a reverse auction buyback of the $ITL token, funded entirely from InterLink Labs' own treasury. The mechanism lets $ITL holders submit bids specifying how many tokens they wish to sell and at what price, with InterLink Labs selecting the most competitive offers. Tokens repurchased through the programme are earmarked to fund community rewards and special activities dedicated to the first 10 million Linkers.

The first phase of the buyback runs for two weeks, closing on 24 August 2026. InterLink Labs confirmed the buyback received approval from the InterLink Foundation before launch, framing it as a move toward long-term capital discipline rather than a one-off promotion.

Gifts, Meetups, and VIP Merchandise

Beyond the buyback, the project is promising a "special gift" for every user who registered within the first 10 million, though specifics have not been disclosed. InterLink also plans to host offline meetups in cities around the world, giving community members a chance to connect in person for the first time at scale.

Top community contributors will receive exclusive VIP merchandise, a gesture aimed at recognising the ambassadors and active participants who helped drive growth. The project currently counts more than 3,500 ambassadors spread across 131 countries, according to InterLink Labs.

InterLink Labs describes itself as a human-centric blockchain network that uses facial liveness detection to verify real users, issuing each verified participant a unique on-chain identity as a Human Node. The app is free to use, with no hardware or upfront fees required. The project is a participant in the Google for Startups programme and has had its human-AI model ranked on the NIST benchmark alongside established global technology companies, though it is worth noting that user figures are self-reported and no major third-party audit of its smart contracts has been publicly confirmed to date.

The dual-token structure, with $ITLG serving as the internal participation token and $ITL as the external payment token, underpins the reward mechanics. InterLink Labs has indicated it allocates 50 percent of token supply to users and relies on burns and buybacks as core economic levers.
